Dr. Zenglo Chen has over 25 years of experience in strategic human resource management. He has served in a lead talent management role at Lenovo, Motorola, The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, and University of Texas Medical Center (Galveston). He has also been the head of HR at Wilhelmsen Ships Service, Americas Region. Early in his career he was a consultant with a global management consulting firm of psychologists who specialized in executive assessment, executive coaching, and succession planning. He has worked with CEO’s and other C-Suite executives shaping strategy for human resources and talent management. He is a native of China and fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In addition, he has served as adjunct professor at Northwestern University’s Master of Science Program in Learning and Organization Change (MSLOC). He advised McKinsey & Company on the HR practice in high-tech industry. He published articles and gave presentations on leadership development in varies academic journals and professional conferences.
Dr. Chen has an M.A. degree in social psychology and a Ph.D. in organization psychology from the University of Vermont. He is a certified Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), and a Senior Certified Professional in HR (SCP) by the Society of Human Resource Management. He is a member of Society of Psychologist In Management (SPIM), Society of Consulting Psychology (SCP), and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
